I’ve been getting some emails regarding hair styling tips. Usually I come across articles on how to style hair or what products to use. With the current trend in transforming hair drastically in minutes for celebs, I realized that I should probably address how to do that at home.
Surprisingly, the biggest secret in celebrity hair isn’t having naturally healthy hair. The styling community actually heavily utilizes hair pieces, wigs, clip-in extensions and other hair alternatives to change a hairstyle completely in minutes. Celebs go from long hair to short hair or short hair to long hair in just one styling session with wigs or extensions.
I’ve done some research for myself on the web and want to share the site I feel is most reputable for getting these hair accessories to use at home: www.voguewigs.com.
Voguewigs is a great place to buy wigs, clip-in extensions and hair pieces. I’ve found that they happen to always have the greatest selection of latest styles out and carry all the most popular brands used in hairstyling. I’d recommend this for anyone looking for subtle or drastic non-permanent change in hairstyle. The secret is out!

I'd like to introduce one of my favorite beauty blogs and friends of The Cutting Chair: Smarter Beauty Blog. Run by Michelle Fernando, this blog features everything from the latest beauty trends, how to's/tips, do's and do not's, product reviews and even tips for men. I hope you guys love Michelle's funny and witty writing style as much as we do!
Check out this recent post about soap leaves that caught my attention:
"See there are some things that are seriously only marketed to women, well women and gay men.
And there is a reason for that, it’s because “we” appreciate attention to details and beauty. Duh!" - Read Post

Bravo premiered their second season of Shear Genius last night. After every show, they post before and after photos from the challenges. In this case: "The Shortcut Challenge"
I can't say I was that impressed with most of the cuts. Many of them seemed pretty dull.
Here's one for example by Gail:

What are your thoughts?

I'm not clear as to whether or not these hair hats are really being sold, but one thing's for sure: there's one for everyone! Which one are you?
